India has a population of 1.1 billion people. Nearly half are children under the age of 14.
The majority of India’s children live in rural villages where life is difficult, at best, for most families. Nearly 12% of all children born in India will not live to their first birthday.
Our Crèche program provides care for 20 children from the age of one to five. These children come to our centre at nine in the morning and go back to their homes by four in the evening. In between they are taught to read and write, get nutritious lunch, snacks and meal as well as regular medical care. By helping the children of low income families, we can help change the future of India!
