    Who are we?

Peace Children Care Home is a home for children who are affected by HIV/AIDS and have lost one or both of their parents due to this illness. They are often neglected and ostracized by society and abandoned by their relatives. Our home aims to bring a total transformation in the life of these abandoned children by bringing them the care and love they need.

Peace Children Care Home is a project of the Women Hope Foundation (WHF) in India. WHF is a registered charitable trust (registration number: 252/2000), governed by a board of directors and trustees, who ensure that their mission and objectives are respected, and who are responsible of a transparent accountability. We have a non-profit certificate, maintain bank transaction details and are authorized to receive foreign funds. If necessary, we can communicate, on request, our balance sheets, our certificates and our objectives.

    Who are the founders?

The orphanage is the fruit of a long waited dream of two people who share the same background and the same ideals. The founder and director, Luke, with his wife Dhanabackiyam both grew up in an orphanage. The personal knowledge of the pain and struggles indured by orphans and uncared children in India, made them feel like the right people to start a home like this one.
Ever since the creation of the home in 2005, they have devoted their life to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the orphans they follow. To these children they represent a Mummy and a Daddy.
